Fredrik Sundberg, better known by his name Anevo, is unquestionably one of Swedens most promising up and coming artists of 2015. Hailing from a small town in Sweden called Sandviken, this multitalented sensation was once again tracked down by HBTs resident Swede, Samet zcelik, and were more than delighted to introduce you all to the one and only Anevo.
In early 2014, Anevoâs career really took off when groove maestro Kryder discovered him through his astonishing production called Walter White, and went on to release his own edit of the track. Fast-forward to spring of that year: suddenly Anevoâs being streamed all over the web, and heâs landed himself a well-deserved spot performing at Insanity Festival in J¶nk¶ping, Sweden, listed on the same lineup as house legend Steve Angello.
Musics always been a part of Anevos life, but his journey really started back at age 4 when he learnt how to play the piano. He went on to master the guitar as well, and after a while he eventually discovered the world of electronic music. He immediately fell in love with the craft and started producing in 2009, but it wasnt until 2012 that he felt he seriously got a handle on his style.
With releases on Dutch imprint Spinin Records, remixes for the likes of Avicii, and a huge collaboration alongside Tiesto, American EDM producer and DJ KSHMR has had quite a productive 2015 to say the least.
His ascension to the top is even more impressive considering Niles Hollowell-Dhar has only been releasing music under his KSHMR alias since 2014. Before then he was one half of hip-hop production duo The Cataracs alongside David 'Campa' Benjamin Singer-Vine.
2015 finally saw the LA-based producer breakout from his hip-hop roots and into the world of EDM, and it was his collaboration, Secrets, alongside Dutch heavyweight Tiesto that was the catalyst to putting his new alias on the map. That success then saw the LA-based producer play his first live show at the Fonda Theatre in LA alongside Bassjackers and newcomer Yogi.
This year has gone better than I ever hoped for, KSHMR tells DJ Mag. 'Burn' with DallasK really opened the door for me, and from there I had the honour of collaborating with Tiesto on 'Secrets', which became the biggest release of my career so far.
Music aside, Tiesto introducing me for the first time at Ultra 2015 in Miami was one of the most surreal experiences of my life, he continues.
As well as high-flying collaborations and remixes, KSHMR also found time to release 'Jammu' his most personal track to date. It pulled in a host of influences, including those from his Indian heritage, into a giant EDM melting pot.
With support from the scene's biggest names, KSHMR is showing all the signs of becoming one of the USs biggest EDM stars to date.

Their smash hit The Hum also netted them the #1 single spot in their native Belgium going platinum, a feat that was repeated just a few months later with their Higher Place collaboration penned with R&B superstar Ne-Yo, which spent an astonishing 10 weeks atop the singles chart in their home country and also picked up a trend as one of the most Shazamed tracks at numerous festivals that include Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld, Ultra Music Festival and Creamfields.

They dont care about genres. They dont care about smartness. They dont care about the things you care about. Dada Life just want to make you jump up and down. Then make you crash into a wall with a smile on your face.
The formula has been a winner since the start. In summer 2006 Dada Life released Big Time and DJ:s all over got their first take on the duo. Since then there has been a steady stream of records: The Great Fashionista Swindle, Vote Yes and Fun Fun Fun as well as the full length album Just Do the Dada. Dada Life have also remixed artists such as Laidback Luke, Alex Gopher and Dan Black/Kid Cudi.
The tunes are played by everyone from Crookers, Eric Prydz and Benny Benassi to David Guetta, as well as featured on tons of compilations. Ti«sto quickly understood how to Do the Dada â and the duo played before him on his massive USA-tour 2009 (as well as some dates this year).
2010 is going to be massive for the duo with planned tours in USA and Australia, as well as gigs at the big European festivals. Also expect tons of new tracks and remixes. The album Just Do the Dada is released and done. Good, because Dada Life are hungry again.
As DJ:s Dada Life always have a little extra in their record bag. They constantly produce their own remixes/edits (Guerilla Farts!!!) of good tunes in order to have something unique to play. (And when they get bored with the tunes, the mp3:s end up somewhere on the net) Just give them a few bottles of cheap champagne and a box of bananas and they keep going.
And remember: destroy dance music and have fun. Dont look back in the past. Always go forward. Dont think too much. Always follow the money.
Asaf Borger, aka Borgore, is something of a musical chameleon. He started his music career young, first becoming a classically trained musician he frequently lists Bach, half-jokingly, as one of his favourite musicians of all time before joining deathcore band Shabira in his formative years. In videos of the band performing he looks out of place, a gawky, shaved-headed figure in a group of bearded, long-haired rockers.
While he might have since left the band and moved from his hometown of Tel Aviv to the US, elements of his heavier musical past have remained a feature of his productions.
Borger describes his music as Gorestep a fusion of EDM, dubstep and heavy metal that unites his earlier influences with his newfound passion for brash, in-yer-face electronic music.
In 2012, Borger collaborated with Miley Cyrus on the single Decisions the song is often described as a turning point in Miley Cyruss musical transformation. The single catapulted Borgore into the spotlight and proved he could bring Gorestep to the masses.
They dont give a f*ck about tomorrow or the boundaries of the EDM genre.
Teaming up in their hometown, Vlaardingen, in 2004, Mitchell Vreeswijk and Jan Stadhouders formed LNY TNZ with the shared passion of putting a new twist on hard hitting EDM. The group rapidly made a name for themselves, as they released underground tracks that evolved the genre into something entirely in and of its own.
They quickly became pioneers in Dutch music as a DJ tandem, known for their unique sound. Support from other leading artists came pouring in as LNY TNZ tracks appeared on numerous compilation CDs and received radio play worldwide. After mixing their second official compilation CD in 2007, LNY TNZ toured at major festivals and events around the globe, emerging as a leader in the scene.
Following a string of tours, Mitchell and Jan took a break to study, travel, and work on other art forms, including film directing. In 2012, they came up with a new round of music. LNY TNZ recorded several underground bootlegs and released them online to the support of their fans and major artists, who welcomed the duo back from hiatus.
In 2013, LNY TNZ presented their single Last Night Ever with Yellow Claw from the forthcoming collaboration EP All Your Bass. The hit was released by Sony BMG and Dim Mak, along with a popular video that takes place over a full tilt night in Tokyo.
LNY TNZ are now here to stay, currently working on more major collaborations and putting out new music that will continue to push and the boundaries of their unique combination of hardstyle, trap, and EDM.
International DJ, charting producer, in-demand remixer, Beatport Music Awards nominee, Olivier Giacomotto is a proven integral player of the electronic music scene. He first got into production in 1999 working as producer assistant at Townhouse Studios in London, then went back to France with enough experience to start a career of music composer. His tireless need to evolve and grow as creative entity and forward thinking artist always forced this Paris based composer to constantly seek a new musical excitement. Therefore Olivier naturally crossed musical genres and trends always keeping an eye on the original definition of the underground.
In the last 10 years, he progressively found his path into techno, house, electro, tech-house, deep house, and forged his success with constant appearances in the highest ranks of the Beatport charts, the biggest online music store specializing in electronic dance music. His own solid productions and few special collaborations with major artists such as John Acquaviva, Umek, or Popof, have been released on famous labels like Get Physical, Suara, Noir Music, Definitive Recordings, Plus 8, Great Stuff, Toolroom, or Knee Deep In Sound.
On stage and in front of a crowd, Olivier gradually earned the trust of the most famous venues demonstrating his talent with an undoubtable versatility, and adaptability, always injecting groove and funk inside an inspired blend of electronic flavors. For that reason his name appeared as headliner of major events around the world such as Privilege in Ibiza, Rex Club in Paris, Ministry of Sound in London, Womb in Tokyo, Fabric in Madrid, Pacha in Sao Paulo, Weekend in Berlin, X2 in Jakarta, Zona in Moscow, Sensation White in Cali, or Kabbalah Festival in various cities of Brazil, to name a few
His unwavering determination to push boundaries sets him apart from the others and his creativity span far beyond the music thatâs brought him to international acclaim. Between the hits, Olivier composed several songs for mainstream artists and regularly sells tracks for top-selling video games or Hollywood box office movies : the multinational developer and publisher Rockstar Games licensed four of his tracks for their racing game Midnight Club Los Angeles. Olivier also produced for pop and reggae artists Terry Lynn and Tom Frager. One of his productions for Terry Lynn titled «Stone» was licensed for the soundtrack of Hollywood box office hit «Date Night» with Steve Carell, Tina Fey, and Mark Wahlberg, and «Give Me That Love», coproduced with Tom Frager on the major global music company Universal, have been charted during 2 weeks in the French TOP50 selling thousands of Singles and albums. Always a step ahead, Olivier recently showed once again his unique ability producing an entire movie soundtrack for the US film « The Red Man ».
Partner of the iconic John Acquaviva, they currently co-run the independent music label Definitive Recordings. Launched originally in 1991 by John Acquaviva, Richie Hawtin and Karl Kowalski, Definitive established the housier side of the electronic empire that Hawtin and Acquaviva started with Plus 8 Records in 1990. Definitiveâs style of house music was the dominant sound of mid-west North America, being played in raves and after-hours parties everywhere. History has been kind and holds in high regard seminal anthems like « House 4 All » by The Blunted Dummies, « Do Da Doo » by Robotman and « Get House » by Calisto, with the tracks still getting heavy play and licensing action from the industryâs leading lights. After a hiatus in the late 90s, John Acquaviva relaunched Definitive in 2005 including Olivier Giacomotto as his main artist and partner, giving focus to seeking and presenting the latest emerging sounds and talent to the world via a reputable, consistent, and trust-worthy platform.
In recent times Shiba San has garnered a lot of positive attention from every corner, with one foot in his hip hop past and the other embracing the future of house he has found a comfortable collision of the two in bass heavy ghetto funk. And associations with both Claude Von Strokes Dirtybird label and AMINE & Dances Cuff certainly havent hurt.
His recent release Okay effortlessly became a contender for our 2014 summer soundtrack, and its currently making some serious rounds on the club circuit, shooting straight to the top on Beatports House chart and coming in at numero 3 on the overall rankings provides a clear indicator of the power behind this low slung rumbler. As if hearing the track yourself wouldnt confirm that!
Its fair to say that Shiba San is primed and ready to blow. You cant escape the feeling that this could be the start of something big.
